Dale Nichols LLC provides antique furniture restoration and conservation on location worldwide and at our shops in Vinegar Hill, Brooklyn and Stonington, Connecticut.
Renowned for their work on 18th century English furniture as well as the newfound treasures of the 20th century, collectors trust Dale Nichols implicitly with the care of their antiques.
Their relationship is as much with the furniture itself as it is with the client. Equipped with two canvas bags organized with hand tools and traditional solutions, they send teams of highly trained restorers to private collections worldwide and maintain over 4,000 pieces a year.
While in the home, they also provide clients and their staff with instructions on the day-to-day care of their antiques. In their workshops, located in Connecticut and Brooklyn, NY, they take on more time-consuming and complicated antiques restoration. This is where they also fabricate architectural elements, such as interior doors or libraries, using fine woods and traditional finishes.
Dale Nichols LLC offers weekly pick up and delivery services between the New York City area and their workshops. Whether on-site or in the workshop, their primary goal is to maintain or uncover the authenticity of each piece we work with, restoring it to its original beauty.
